Lucid, the American electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has announced its fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 financial results, showing solid momentum heading into 2025. The company ended the quarter with approximately $6.13 billion in total liquidity, a significant boost for its ambitious plans.

The year 2025 is expected to be a defining year for Lucid. The company has set an ambitious production target of approximately 20,000 vehicles, a significant increase from the 9,029 vehicles produced in 2024. This growth is largely attributed to the launch of the Lucid Gravity SUV, a new addition to their product lineup.

In Q4 alone, deliveries surged to 3,099 vehicles, bringing the total for the year to 10,241. This represents a 71% increase over 2023. The company posted Q4 revenue of $234.5 million, up nearly 50% from $157.2 million reported in the same quarter in 2023.

However, the company reported GAAP net losses of $(0.22) per share for Q4 and $(1.25) for the full year. Non-GAAP net losses were $(1.04) per share in 2024. Despite these losses, the company's financial results indicate a positive trajectory.

Amidst these changes, Lucid's CEO, Peter Rawlinson, is stepping down from his executive roles and transitioning to the position of Strategic Technical Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. Rawlinson will continue to support the company in a strategic capacity.

Marc Winterhoff, previously the Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Interim CEO of Lucid. Winterhoff is tasked with guiding the launch of new more affordable EV models and managing the company's strategic direction.
