A Yakutsk resident, Gennady Mekumyanov, registered for an appointment with the Prosecutor General through the government services website. However, he encountered some difficulties. He tried to register again through a phone number provided, but received only busy signals. On some occasions, a robot answered his calls. Despite passing his contacts to the commission, it's unknown if his appeal will be accepted.
Upon arriving at the reception, Gennady Mekumyanov was not allowed in. He had come with a demand to initiate a criminal case against Il Tumen deputy Svetlana Davydova for slander. More than 10 people were present at the reception.
The commission's visit to Yakutsk is an opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns and appeals directly to the Prosecutor General. The commission will review each case and take appropriate action. The reception hour for the public by the commission of the Russian General Prosecutor was shared on social media by the commission itself.
The Russian Prosecutor General's Commission's visit to Yakutsk is part of a series of receptions planned across the country. The commission will continue to travel and meet with citizens to ensure their concerns are addressed and their rights are protected.
