The "March to May the 4th" event, a Pro AV spectacle, took place in the heart of New York City, gracing the iconic Empire State Building with a galactic transformation. The event was organised and executed by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Lucasfilm's visual effects house, in collaboration with creative agency SUPERBIEN.

Skywalker Sound, a division of Lucasfilm, was responsible for the event's audio, setting the stage for John Williams' iconic "Imperial March" to resonate through the city. Concept art was created to determine the most impactful and fan-loved visuals, with the final display featuring tie fighters, droids, Imperial troopers, and even Darth Vader.

ILM and SUPERBIEN utilised 46 projectors to bring the light show to life, projecting the Star Wars universe onto the Empire State Building. The result was a light show of "galactic proportions," attracting the attention of both Star Wars enthusiasts and New Yorkers alike.

Mark J. Pescatore, the content director at SCN, and another individual had the opportunity to "nerd out" at the event, with SCN also checking out the Pro AV spectacle. Lucasfilms Video Production senior editor Jeff Pickett was also involved in the project, ensuring a seamless integration of Star Wars elements into the light show.

Despite extensive research, there are no relevant search results providing information about who specifically organised and executed the project for the "March to May the 4th" event. However, the collaboration between ILM, SUPERBIEN, and Skywalker Sound has undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the city and Star Wars fans worldwide.
