IBC2025 to Introduce Innovative PTZ Prompter System in Autoscript, Autocue Display
At this year's IBC2025, taking place from September 12-15 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center, Autoscript and Autocue are set to showcase their latest offering – the PTZ Prompter system.
The PTZ Prompter system, available in Autocue Pioneer and Autoscript EVO-IP configurations, is designed for seamless, professional prompting in dynamic multicamera environments. The solution offers streamlined installation, efficient cable routing, PTZ camera protection, and a superior on-air experience.
The system features a robust composite structure with internal cable routing, ensuring durability and ease of use. The PTZ prompters themselves are housed in a purpose-built, rigid enclosure that houses the PTZ camera, while an internal camera cradle allows for inverted PTZ mounting.
The PTZ prompters offer continuous adjustment of the camera position, with a wide-angle lens and plus-or-minus 15-degree panning, and plus-or-minus 5-degree tilting inside the hood. Moreover, when used with the Sony FR7, the camera can calibrate with the prompter glass mounted, eliminating the need to remove the glass to make adjustments.
The Autoscript PTZ Prompter comes with a premium EVO-IP configuration and a carbon fiber finish with side flags, while the Autocue PTZ Prompter boasts a matte black design and offers Pioneer monitor options. Both PTZ prompters feature VESA mounting on top and rear for flexible rigging.
According to Anel Abiken, product manager of prompting, the PTZ prompter system simplifies installation, protects the camera, and improves workflow across the board.
