Hyundai's Ioniq 9 models establish exceptional noise reduction, providing a serene and quiet ride experience.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9, the latest offering from the South Korean automaker, has made its debut in Germany and set a new standard for acoustic comfort in premium electric SUVs.

Priced starting at 68,500 euros, the Ioniq 9 is available with a battery storage capacity of 110 kWh across all versions. This electric powerhouse boasts a maximum fast-charging power of up to 233 kW, ensuring quick and efficient charging on the go.

The Ioniq 9 comes equipped with an active disturbance circuit, developed by Hyundai Mobis, a key element in suppressing noise in electric vehicles. Additionally, active noise cancellation and comprehensive soundproofing measures have been implemented to further reduce noise levels inside the vehicle. Double-laminated soundproof glass on the front and side windows, three-layer sound-absorbing padding in the wheel wells, and sound-absorbing materials in the trunk area contribute to this noise reduction.

Structural measures have been implemented to minimize wind and road noise. Reinforced door frames with integrated structural foam improve the cabin's tightness, reducing wind noise to 62 decibels. The Ioniq 9 is quieter than conventional combustion engines due to its electric powertrain.

The Ioniq 9 offers a range of up to 620 kilometers, according to the WLTP standard. For more targeted charging optimization, the battery pre-conditioning can be activated manually. The base model uses a 160 kW (218 PS) rear-wheel-drive powertrain, while two other models offer all-wheel-drive with 226 kW (307 PS) or 315 kW (428 PS) power.

Inside the Ioniq 9, conversations can be enjoyed undisturbed, even at high speeds, according to Hyundai. The vehicle comes standard with seven seats, and an optional configuration with six individual seats is available. The Bose sound system is standard from the "Techniq" trim level in the Ioniq 9.

The active noise cancellation system in the Ioniq 9 works similarly to modern noise-cancelling headphones, analysing and cancelling out unwanted noise for a more comfortable and peaceful ride. A charging time of just 24 minutes from 10 to 80 percent is achievable in the Ioniq 9, making it an ideal choice for those always on the move.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is not just a premium electric SUV; it's a testament to Hyundai's commitment to innovation and setting new standards in the automotive industry.
