Hyundai unveils the Knight Editions, while TVS introduces the Ntorq 150 - a roundup of automotive and motorcycle releases for September 4th.

In the ever-evolving automotive landscape, two significant announcements have been made recently. At the IAA Mobility 2025 motorshow, the BMW Motorrad brand unveiled the Vision CE electric scooter, a major advancement in urban electric mobility. Meanwhile, TVS Motor Company has launched its new scooter, the Ntorq 150, which is set to compete with models like the Hero Xoom 160, Yamaha Aerox 155, and Aprilia SR 160.

The BMW Motorrad Vision CE, a significant evolution from the company's previous C1 scooter launched 25 years ago, integrates safety, design innovation, and a renewed sense of freedom for riders in urban settings. The Vision CE features a safety cage design that eliminates the necessity for helmets or conventional protective gear, providing an open yet secure riding experience. This unique design consists of a composite metal tube cage, a specially designed seat, and a seat belt for rider safety.

The BMW Group, which encompasses the BMW Motorrad brand and other BMW brands at the event, accompanied the unveiling of the Vision CE electric scooter.

Moving on to the TVS Ntorq 150, this new flagship ICE scooter from TVS Motor Company is available in two variants: the standard model and the TFT variant. The standard model comes in Stealth Silver, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue, while the TFT variant is available in Nitro Green, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue. The top-spec model of the TVS Ntorq 150 features an advanced TFT cluster and is priced at ₹1,29,000 (ex-showroom, pan India). The standard model retails at ₹1.19 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has also joined the fray, launching three new models in its Knight Edition range: the Creta Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and Alcazar Knight. Since its introduction in 2022, the Knight Edition series has achieved sales exceeding 77,000 units.

These developments underscore the continuous innovation and competition in the automotive industry, offering consumers a wide range of choices for their urban commuting needs.
