In the world of Formula 1, trust in the brakes is paramount, especially at Monza where drivers brake at a staggering 350 km/h before the first chicane. As the race approaches, Nico Hülkenberg, a driver for the Sauber team, reflects on the unique challenges that lie ahead.

Hülkenberg, a seasoned racer, believes his team was too cautious during the race at Zandvoort, missing out on an opportunity. This cautious approach led to their first nil-point result since Monaco. Hülkenberg urges his team to be more aggressive in future races to avoid similar results.

The car to be used at Monza presents a unique challenge for Hülkenberg and his engineers. Unlike Zandvoort, the car feels different at Monza due to the complete change in conditions. The car feels very light in the medium-speed corners at Monza, requiring a balanced setup.

Another challenge for Hülkenberg is the car's behaviour at Monza, compared to Zandvoort. The car has never been driven with a low-downforce package before, adding an extra layer of complexity to the race.

As Hülkenberg prepares for the Italian Grand Prix, he expresses sentimentality at the thought of the Sauber motorhome's impending farewell. The two-story building, where drivers, team management, and VIP guests reside, has served the team well over the last 20 years and been present at many races.

The motorhome, which made its debut in the 2006 season, has served the team for nearly 20 years in the top tier of Formula 1. Nico Hülkenberg, a driver for Sauber, had occupied a resting room in the motorhome during his first stint with the team in 2013.

The Sauber team's mobile team temple, known for its distinctive white sails, glass front, and wide window bands, will be deployed for the last time at the Italian Grand Prix. Hülkenberg aims to conclude the final season under the Sauber logo in the remaining nine races, giving it their all in the final deployment to send off the old Sauber motorhome in style.

Looking beyond the current season, the start of the new works team era in Formula 1 by Audi in 2026 is not currently a major focus for Hülkenberg. The new Audi Formula 1 team will be based on the Sauber team and operated by Audi itself starting in 2026. The specific builder or operator of the team's facility is not separately named beyond Audi's ownership and management.

Hülkenberg has not seen any plans for the new Audi temple yet. However, his focus remains on the current season and ensuring a strong finish for the Sauber team and the iconic motorhome that has been a part of their racing journey for nearly two decades.
