How One Man’s Kindness Transformed Thousands of Lives in Kazakhstan

Konstantin Khomenko, an Almaty resident, has dedicated over 16 years to transforming lives through charity. His work centers on providing comfort to children with serious illnesses, their families, and those in challenging circumstances. What started as a personal mission has evolved into a support network, positively impacting thousands across Kazakhstan.

Khomenko's charity journey began after attending funerals of friends' loved ones. The experience motivated him to act, especially for children facing life-threatening conditions. His initial initiative, Tvori dobro (Do Good), launched 16 years ago and swiftly united teachers, students, and volunteers under a common cause.

Khomenko's initiatives continue to expand, offering crucial support where it's most needed. The children's hospice and ongoing aid projects ensure families receive both practical and emotional support. His work serves as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can significantly impact lives.
