Houston’s Thanksgiving Parade Returns with Local Mascots Leading the Way
Houston’s annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade will return on Thursday, November 27, starting at 9 a.m. This year’s event will feature four beloved local mascots as grand marshals: Toro, Clutch, Orbit, and Diesel. The parade promises a mix of floats, live performances, and marching bands along its winding downtown route.
The parade will kick off at the corner of Smith Street and Lamar Street. From there, it will head east along Smith Street before turning right onto Walker Street. The route continues south on Walker, then turns right onto Milam Street, moving west. Another right turn takes the procession onto Pease Street, where it will head north before turning right onto Louisiana Street. The parade then travels east on Louisiana, turns left onto Clay Street, and finally turns right back onto Smith Street, ending at Dallas Street.
With a 9 a.m. start and a route spanning key downtown streets, the parade offers a festive way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The grand marshals—Toro, Clutch, Orbit, and Diesel—will lead the procession, while live music and performances keep the crowd engaged. Free viewing is open to all, with reserved seats an option for those wanting a guaranteed spot.
