House Fire Leads to Injury of Individual in Bad Bramstedt

In the quiet town of Bad Bramstedt, a residential fire broke out on "Butendoor" street on July 3, 2025. The fire department, along with an ambulance, were swiftly dispatched with the emergency code "FEU (Fire Standard)" following an emergency call.

Upon arrival, the living room of the multi-family house was already ablaze. The fire was quickly extinguished using a handheld hose reel and breathing apparatus. Despite an extensive search, the two missing cats reported in the house could not be found.

The resident of the house was treated by the on-site emergency medical service and transported to a nearby hospital for further examination. Another person living in the building was also treated due to initial heavy smoke, but further hospital treatment was not necessary.

The authorities involved in investigating the cause of the fire included the local fire department (Feuerwehr) and the police. Approximately 30 emergency service personnel from the Bad Bramstedt Volunteer Fire Department, Rescue service cooperation in Schleswig-Holstein, Segeberg County Fire Association, emergency medical service, energy supplier, and Police Segeberg and Pinneberg were involved in the operation.

The fire was reported "fire out" 25 minutes after the alarm. During the extinguishing work, the building was ventilated, and the scene was then handed over to the police. The "Butendoor" street was fully closed to through traffic during the incident.
