Hong Kong Disneyland dazzles with 20th-anniversary winter wonderland celebrations

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has kicked off its 20th anniversary with a dazzling winter transformation. From now until January 4, 2026, the park will shine as a festive wonderland, complete with snowfall, twinkling lights, and holiday-themed entertainment. Guests can expect seasonal surprises, from character meet-and-greets to spectacular evening shows.

The resort’s A Disney Christmas event brings classic holiday magic to life. Main Street, U.S.A. glows with decorations, while the A Holiday Wish-Come-True Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place each evening. Snow drifts down as glowing projections and a drone display light up the sky.

World of Frozen is decked out in Arendellian holiday style, featuring a stunning ice sculpture of Kristoff and Sven. Visitors can join Kristoff’s Sven-tastic News, helping him bring the sculpture to life with festive cheer. Meanwhile, Santa Mickey, Santa Goofy, and Santa Stitch appear in seasonal outfits, spreading holiday news across the park.

Starting November 27, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia debut in new outfits inspired by Zootopia 2. In Adventureland, they lead an interactive mission to find a missing tourist named Gary De’Snake. The duo also promotes themed snacks and exclusive merchandise tied to the film.

Food lovers can visit Ye Olde Christmas Market for treats like gingerbread cookies. A new talking Mickey Celebration Popcorn Bucket is also available for seasonal snacking. On December 31, the park wraps up the year with a New Year’s Eve Countdown News, featuring a dazzling show at the Castle of Magical Dreams.

From November 22, the castle hosts Disney Christmas Live in Concert!, starring Cantopop artists and the Hong Kong Children’s Choir. The performances add a musical touch to the festive news.

The 20th-anniversary festivities run until January 4, 2026, offering guests a mix of holiday cheer, live entertainment, and exclusive experiences. With themed decorations, character appearances, and special events, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has turned its winter celebration into an unforgettable seasonal spectacle.
