Marcel Hilßner (age 29) is leaving Leutzsch after playing there for only one year and participating in 31 games, scoring 3 goals.
Hilßner's Departure from Chemie
In explaining his decision to depart, he stated, "I had to accept the fact that, following my second rupture of the cruciate ligament, it was no longer suitable for me to play at this level and with this level of intensity." The injury provided him with a unique chance to return to local play as a Leipzig native with his loved ones and friends. This was not a given.
