High-stakes poker showdown narrows to 63 players in €170K tournament

The poker tournament with a €170,435 prize pool is now at level 15, with blinds at 6,000 chips. Only 63 players remain from a possible 383 entries, and the action has intensified in recent hands. Matthew Warrie opened the betting with a min-raise to 12,000 from the hi-jack position. Christopher Lamb then raised to 50,000 from the button, increasing the pressure. Jose Aguilera responded by moving all in for 295,000, prompting Lamb to fold his hand.

Aguilera later put out a 20,000 continuation bet on the flop, keeping the aggression high. Warrie eventually mucked his cards, avoiding further confrontation. After the hand, Aguilera's stack was left with 36,000 chips above the cut-off mark. The tournament continues with players battling for a share of the six-figure prize pool.

With 63 players still in contention, the field is narrowing as the blinds rise. Aguilera's bold play has kept him above the cut-off, while others must now adjust their strategies. The next levels will determine who advances closer to the final table.
