Holy Cross University: A Night to Remember for the Class of '26

The Class of '26 at Holy Cross University recently held a memorable event – the Sophomore Ball – which took place in the Hogan Ballroom on February 23rd. The multicolor lights from the ballroom could be seen from Hoval, indicating a night filled with excitement and camaraderie.

The event was well-attended, with students seen wearing suits and dresses around campus on the day of the ball. Thomas Gangemi IV '26 and Blake Bacas '26, both from Mendham, NJ, and Saratoga Springs, NY respectively, were among the attendees. Both Thomas and Blake are active members of the Holy Cross community, with Thomas majoring in Political Science and Architectural Studies, and Blake in Economics & Political Science.

The Sophomore Ball offered a variety of activities, including pizza, beverages, a DJ, and casino games. It provided an opportunity for students to reflect on their time at Holy Cross so far and to look forward to the future.

In addition to the Sophomore Ball, information sessions for studying abroad in the 2024-2025 school year have begun. These sessions aim to provide students with information about the study abroad programs and the application process. The sessions have been well-attended, with large turnouts reported.

The information sessions will continue throughout the month, offering students the chance to learn more about the opportunities available to them. The success of the Sophomore Ball and the interest in studying abroad suggest that the Class of '26 is eager to make the most of their time at Holy Cross University.
