High-ranking executive Robert Rippee, previously with Sands, is appointed as the temporary Chief Marketing Officer for VIP Play.

In a significant move, VIP Play, a leading player in the intersection of technology, gaming, and fan engagement, has announced a partnership with Rippee. This partnership, facilitated by Black Fire, is set to bring a "direct pipeline" to breakthrough innovation, commercialization opportunities, and customer engagement strategies.

Rippee, known for his extensive career in academic research, brings a wealth of knowledge on gaming convergence, esports, and consumer behaviour to the table. His past roles include serving as senior vice president of marketing for The Venetian and The Palazzo at Las Vegas Sands from December 2011 to December 2014, where he spearheaded major brand growth and customer acquisition initiatives.

Les Ottolenghi, the CEO of VIP Play, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that not only is VIP Play competing but leading at the forefront of this dynamic industry. He believes that the partnership with Rippee will translate into meaningful shareholder value and accelerated growth.

VIP Play's operations include a sportsbook offering a variety of wager options, sweepstakes contests, and social features. With Rippee's appointment, the company expects to signal to the market that it is leading the way in this sector.

The partnership with Black Fire also marks a collaboration with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas' Black Fire Innovation Hub. This alliance aims to accelerate product development, enhance innovation through direct collaboration with university students and startups, and speed up time-to-market for new betting and interactive gaming products. This partnership is expected to strengthen VIP Play's market position and investor confidence through AI and university alliances.

Founded in 2020, VIP Play operates its proprietary technology platform in Tennessee and holds an interim iGaming and mobile sports betting licence in West Virginia. This strategic move further solidifies VIP Play's position in the gaming industry and positions the company for continued growth and innovation.
