Lenovo has announced two new devices set to hit the market in the coming months. The much-anticipated Legion Go 2, a portable gaming console, and the LOQ Tower 26ADR10, a powerful desktop PC, are both scheduled for release.
Legion Go 2: A New Era in Portable Gaming
The Legion Go 2, slated for release in October 2025, promises to revolutionize portable gaming. With a starting price of $1,049.00, this device features an upgraded processor, the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, boasting 8 cores and 16 threads.
The Legion Go 2 controllers, designed for a more ergonomic and smarter gaming experience, retain the FPS mode from the previous generation. They also boast three customizable buttons through Legion Space, Hall effect joysticks to prevent drift, and a redesigned D-Pad that sits on a pivot disk.
The Legion Go 2, without controllers, measures 0.9 inches in thickness and weighs 2.03 pounds. The device's battery capacity has increased to 74 WHr, ensuring longer gaming sessions. The power button now includes a fingerprint reader for faster login.
The Legion Go 2's display is an 8.8-inch, 1920 x 1200, OLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and touch capabilities. The device also offers up to 2TB M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage and includes a microSD card reader that supports up to 2TB additional storage.
Notably, the right controller still includes a touchpad, while the left side does not.
LOQ Tower 26ADR10: A Powerful Desktop PC
Lenovo also announced the new LOQ Tower 26ADR10 desktop, which will launch in October 2023. Powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 8745HX mobile processor, this PC can be configured with up to Nvidia RTX 50-series graphics cards.
The LOQ Tower 26ADR10 offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and can be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 SODIMMs RAM. This powerful machine is perfect for gamers, creators, and professionals who require high-performance computing.
