Hesse’s Free Exhibition Lets People Test Assistive Tech for Independent Living

A new model exhibition in Hesse is helping people explore assistive devices for independent living. Belle Wi, organized by the Department of Social Affairs, showcases technology designed to support daily life at home. Visitors can test products like reading aids, magnifiers, and voice-controlled systems for free.

The Belle Wi exhibition runs as a free permanent display. It opens every Tuesday from 2 pm to 6 pm and on Thursdays from 1 pm to 5 pm. No registration is needed to try out the devices.

The exhibition gives visitors hands-on access to assistive technology without cost. Free consultations and trial sessions are available during opening hours. Organizers hope the display will encourage greater independence for people with disabilities.
