Verona's Suat Serdar (r.) in a duel with Napoli's Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Serdar has asserted himself in Italy

Verona swiftly closes up - Hertha gains from a million-dollar profit due to Serdar's sale.

Economically advantageous: Hertha will save approximately 1.8 million euros each year starting from the second league with the departure of midfielder Serdar. His contract at Hertha in the capital would have remained valid until 2026. Previously, Serdar had played for Hertha since 2021.

Suat Serdar Transfers from Hertha BSC to Italy

Suat Serdar permanently joins a club in Italy! Since the second half of the season, the former Schalke player has been completely integrated into the Italian team and is now a regular starter, contributing significantly to the team's Serie A survival.

Hertha's sports director Bernhard Weber (44) comments, "Suat has demonstrated impressive performances in Serie A last season, making us thrilled about his progress."

Serdar is extremely content with his new club. In a recent interview with "Kicker," he said, "I've fallen deeply in love with Italy. I can also envision myself playing football in Italy in the future."

This chance has been presented to Serdar, and Hertha enjoys the monetary benefit of his departure.
