Hellmuth and Negreanu crash out as Super High Roller Bowl heats up
Day 2 of the $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl Mixed Games 2026 saw several high-profile exits. Both Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu were knocked out early, leaving the remaining field to battle for the final payouts. With seven places set to be paid, the competition remains fierce as players push for a spot in the money.
Daniel Negreanu began the day with a short stack and was the first of the two stars to exit. His elimination came early, reducing the field further.
Phil Hellmuth, a late registrant with a small stack, also failed to survive. Before his exit, he commented on the role of luck in mixed games. His run ended when Chris Brewer knocked him out—only for Brewer to be eliminated shortly after. Other well-known players, including Brian Rast, Gus Hansen, Bryn Kenney, and Albert Daher, also fell during Day 2. As the action continues, Benny Glaser currently leads the chip counts. Tobias Leknes, Michael Mizrachi, Yuri Dzivielevski, and Chino Rheem follow closely behind.
The tournament now moves closer to the money, with seven players set to cash. Those still in contention will aim to secure their place as the field narrows. The next phase will determine who advances to the final stages.
