Healthcare Provider Prime Healthcare Honored for Outstanding Social Responsibility by Lown Institute on National Level.

Prime Healthcare, a leading national health system, has once again made a significant impact in the healthcare industry. With 46 of its hospitals earning "A" grades on the 2025-26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index, Prime Healthcare continues to set the bar high for quality care and social responsibility.

The Lown Institute Hospitals Index evaluates hospitals on over 50 measures, including novel metrics like community benefit, racial inclusivity, and avoidance of overuse. This year, Prime Healthcare hospitals excelled in these areas, demonstrating their commitment to providing exceptional care to all patients.

In New Jersey, St. Mary's General Hospital ranked among the top in the index, while in Illinois, Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital took the No. 1 spot for Health Equity. Saint Francis Hospital in Illinois also shone brightly, ranking No. 1 in the nation for Pay Equity.

Prime Healthcare's commitment to patient safety was also evident, with Saint Clare's Denville in New Jersey being named the No. 1 hospital in the state for Avoiding Overuse. Garden City Hospital in Michigan and Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania also earned top spots for Patient Safety.

Prime Healthcare's dedication to social responsibility was also highlighted, with North Vista Hospital in Nevada taking the No. 1 spot for Social Responsibility, Health Equity, Community Benefit, Inclusivity, and Racial Inclusivity. East Liverpool City Hospital in Ohio and Providence Medical Center in Kansas also ranked No. 1 in their respective states for Social Responsibility. Landmark Medical Center in Rhode Island also excelled, ranking No. 1 in the state for Health Equity, Inclusivity, and Pay Equity.

Four Prime Healthcare hospitals made it onto the prestigious Lown Institute Honor Roll. Among these, 18 hospitals are members of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity.
