HBO resurrects an original actor from the Harry Potter film series
The magical world of Harry Potter is set to return, this time on HBO, with a new series in the works. While excitement abounds, there have been some discussions around the casting choices and the long-term commitment required for the new series.
One of the potential actors causing a stir is John Lithgow, known for his exceptional acting skills. His name has been tossed around for a role in the series, but concerns about his age and the long-term commitment required have arisen. At 79 years old, Lithgow's participation might be a challenge, given the series' potential multi-year run.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Lithgow, several other actors have been confirmed for their roles. Richard Durden has been cast as Professor Cuthbert Binns, a character known for his monotonous lectures.
