Harry Potter's magical journey continues in 2025, as Pottermore and Audible unveil a star-studded full-cast audio adaptation of the Harry Potter series, promising a spellbinding auditory adventure for fans around the world.
Audible, Inc., a leading provider of premium audio storytelling, has partnered with Pottermore Publishing to bring the Harry Potter series to life in an exciting new way. The Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions are set to complement the popular single-voice English language recordings by Jim Dale and Stephen Fry, which have been captivating audiences since their launch on Audible in 2015.
Starting with the release of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on December 16, 2025, the new full-cast audio editions will bring a fresh dynamic to the beloved series. Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger respectively in audiobooks one, two, and three.
As the series progresses, Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and Nina Barker-Francis will assume the roles of the beloved trio beginning in audiobook four, carrying through to the epic conclusion.
Among the new cast members announced this autumn are Alex Hassell (The Boys, Rivals), who will voice Lucius Malfoy, and Daniel Mays (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Line of Duty), who will voice Dobby. Mark Addy (Game of Thrones) will voice Rubeus Hagrid, and Sara and Avni Deshmukh (Iconicakes) will voice The Patil Twins.
Hugh Laurie, Matthew Macfadyen, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Gomez, and Cush Jumbo OBE were previously announced as cast members. Avni Deshmukh expressed that voicing Parvati Patil was an incredible honor, and Sara Deshmukh shared that voicing Padma Patil was a privilege and the process was deeply rewarding.
The new full-cast audio editions will continue with the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on January 13, 2026, followed by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on February 10, 2026, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on March 10, 2026, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on April 14, 2026. The final instalment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released on May 12, 2026.
