On Monday evenings, starting from September 1 and 8, 2025, RTL will air a new quiz show titled "7 Richtige - Das Quiz der Besserwisser." The show, which will also be available on RTL+ before its TV broadcast, is similar to the popular "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" hosted by Günther Jauch since 1999.
Steffen Hallaschka, known for his hosting of "Stern TV" and his ability to balance seriousness and lightness, will make his debut as a quizmaster on this new show. His excitement about the new job was evident when the format was announced. RTL has dubbed Hallaschka's debut as a significant event.
The first episode of "7 Richtige" will feature an architect struggling with a question about a traffic sign with green and yellow colours. The show's name, "7 Richtige," translates to "7 Correct" in English, and the contestants must answer seven questions correctly to win the grand prize of up to 100,000 euros. The show offers substantial prizes for correct answers that lead to a contestant replacement.
"7 Richtige" is one of several new quiz shows tested by RTL in recent months. Other hosts for these shows include Daniel Hartwich and Sonja Zietlow. Hallaschka himself mentioned that he loves playing games, and quizzes are a passion of his.
