Hallaschka seeks a fresh quiz host.

In the world of German television, a new quiz show is set to make waves. Steffen Hallaschka, known for his success as the host of "Stern TV" since 2011, is set to debut his own quiz show, "7 Correct Answers - The Quiz of the Know-It-Alls," on RTL. The show will air on Monday evenings, starting September 1, 2025, at 8:15 pm, a time slot made famous by Günther Jauch with "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?".

The new format of "7 Correct Answers" encourages quick contestant changes and fosters competition. If a player shows hesitation in answering a question, another contestant can take their place. This dynamic is reminiscent of the fast-paced nature of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?".

RTL has high hopes for "7 Correct Answers - The Quiz of the Know-It-Alls," following a series of new quiz show tests in recent months, including "The Perfect Row" and "Smarter Than Everyone. Beat Germany?". However, Günther Jauch continues to reign largely alone as the quiz king in Germany.

Steffen Hallaschka has been compared to Günther Jauch due to their similarities in appearance and moderating style. Yet, it seems that no information about a new quiz king being crowned in Hamm has been provided.

Meanwhile, the city of Hamm is grappling with high unemployment rates and a large-scale internet outage. A potential bright spot, however, comes with the announcement of new postal voting documents for the election of the Integration Council in Hamm.

As for the quiz show, the first episode saw an architect contestant struggling with a question about a traffic sign with the colours green and yellow. The potential prize for the contestant is up to 100,000 euros.

On a separate note, Günther Jauch will return with new episodes of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" on September 15. Steffen Hallaschka expressed his excitement about his new job as a quizmaster, eager to make his mark in the world of German television.
