Guide for Enrolling in Black Ops 7 Pre-Release Test

Black Ops 7, the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Activision, is set to release its open beta soon. Here's a breakdown of the key details about the beta, including the early access period and the open beta itself.

The open beta for Black Ops 7 will run for a total of 6 days, starting immediately after the early access period ends on October 5 at 10 am PT and ending on October 8 at 10 am PT. The early access period is exclusive to those who preorder the game or have an Xbox Game Pass subscription at the Ultimate, PC, or Console tier. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access the early beta without preordering, thanks to Xbox owning Activision.

The beta is available on multiple platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. However, details about cross-platform compatibility during the beta are yet to be disclosed.

For those who preorder Black Ops 7, early beta access is granted, regardless of the edition chosen (standard/cross-gen or Vault). The Vault edition of the game includes additional content such as Blackcell (1 Season), Operator Collection, Mastercraft Weapon Collection, Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies, Permanent Unlock Token, and Reznov Challenge Pack.

The standard/cross-gen edition of Black Ops 7 costs $70, and the Vault edition costs $100, both granting early beta access. It's important to note that no prior preorder is necessary to gain early access if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.

The free open beta for non-pre-order customers will start on October 5, 2025. Pre-order customers, on the other hand, will get early access starting October 2, 2025. The beta can be downloaded and joined as soon as it launches.

During the open beta period, no additional content or benefits have been announced. Once the open beta concludes, Black Ops 7 is expected to release later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting game!
