Guernsey's 2025 Christmas Lottery launches with £300K jackpot tomorrow

The 2025 Guernsey Christmas Lottery launches tomorrow with tickets priced at £2 each. The draw offers a starting jackpot of £300,000, which could grow as more entries are sold. All proceeds from local sales will go towards supporting island charities through the Social Investment Fund. Tickets for this year's lottery become available from 1 October. Alongside the main draw, players can also try their luck with scratchcard games featuring 33,600 instant prizes.

The results will be announced in Jersey on Thursday 18 December. Buyers can enter individually or join syndicates, with online purchases available for groups, businesses, and charities. Syndicate tickets can be delivered directly by Guernsey Post. In total, 67 cash prizes will be up for grabs, alongside thousands of pounds in instant-win rewards. The lottery has long been a festive tradition, raising funds for local causes since its first draw in 1975.

With a minimum £300,000 jackpot and thousands of smaller prizes, the 2025 Christmas Lottery aims to attract both individual players and organised syndicates. Every ticket sold in Guernsey will contribute to the Social Investment Fund, helping local charities and community projects.
