"Gruber's Returning Performance" or "Patrisa Gruber's Upcoming Show"

On the evening of September 27th, the Municipal Music School will host a special concert at 7 pm. This event, titled "ComeBack", will feature a duo performance by flutist Patrisia Gruber and pianist Jhih-Ting Wong.

Born in Landshut in 1996, Patrisia Gruber began her musical journey at the Municipal Music School Landshut, where she studied until her graduation in 2015. She continued her artistic studies at the University of Music Karlsruhe. Gruber is now the head of the department at the School of Music and Performing Arts in Gaggenau since 2025.

Her piano partner, Jhih-Ting Wong, studied at the National University of Taipei and in Karlsruhe. Currently, there is no information available about his current residence. Since 2021, Wong has been working as a répétiteur at the university in Karlsruhe.

The concert programme includes a variety of works, ranging from the late romantic period to the classical modern era. The duo will perform Serenade by Korngold and the "Undine" sonata by Carl Reinecke. The concert will also feature works by French composers Pierre Sancan and André Jolivet, leading into the classical modern era with a sonatina and "Chant de Linos".

Following the concert, Patrisia Gruber will give a public course at the Municipal Music School on Sunday, September 28th, at 10 am. This event is open to all interested flute talents, with no registration fee. Registration for active participants can be done via telephone number 0151 - 26 51 99 26 or by email at tanja.wagner@our website.

Organised by pianist Tanja Wagner, the "ComeBack" concerts have been taking place at the Municipal Music School for eleven years. This unique "Concert & Course" concept allows audience members to watch musicians they remember as young talents, now as mature musical personalities, in a concert, followed by getting to know them as educators in a public course.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations for the artists are welcome. Listeners are welcome free of charge at Patrisia Gruber's public course.
