Graduation event at The Hague Town Hall for new law enforcement and administrative personnel

In the heart of Hagen City Hall, the graduation ceremony for students at the Higher Service Police Academy North Rhine-Westphalia (HSPV NRW) took place on August 29, 2025. Approximately 188 police students and 97 administrative students received their Bachelor's degrees, marking the beginning of new careers in the police, municipal and state administration, and the pension insurance.

The event began with warm words of inspiration from Imam Turan, a representative of one of the three major religions. This was followed by greetings from Hagen's Mayor Erik O. Schulz and Police President Ursula Tomahogh. HSPV Vice-President Prof.'in Dr. Iris Wiesner emphasized that academic qualification signifies a modern, future-oriented state focusing on quality, integrity, and democratic professionalism.

The group "Ich und Du" provided musical accompaniment, adding a touch of melody to the celebratory atmosphere. The student representative offered a look back and ahead during the ceremony, highlighting the achievements of the graduating class and expressing excitement for their future endeavours.
