Government of Perak admits liability for the royal stage incident, claims Menteri Besar

In a recent turn of events, a police report has been lodged over a fake TikTok account that uses AI-generated likenesses of Saarani Mohamad, the Menteri Besar of Perak. The account, which has been creating a stir, reportedly offers cash to victims and asks them to call a specific number to claim the money.

The incident in question involves security matters and could potentially involve public figures attracting large crowds. Saarani Mohamad, in response to the situation, has advised the public not to be deceived by the fake account and has expressed admiration for Sultan Nazrin's calm demeanor during the incident.

Sultan Nazrin, who remained on stage until the event concluded, received a royal salute and carried on as scheduled. Remarkably, he even mingled with the people after the incident, with no signs of panic or commotion.

The woman who was recently arrested in connection with a security incident in Perak remains unidentified publicly. The 41-year-old suspect, whose remand order expired today, is awaiting instructions from the Attorney-General's Chambers on whether to press charges.

The matter has also been brought to the attention of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. Meanwhile, the Perak police chief, Noor Hisam Nordin, has mentioned that the woman involved in the incident will be sent to Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta in Tanjung Rambutan for observation.

In a statement, Saarani Mohamad has stated that the state government will not blame any party for an unexpected incident. The public is encouraged to exercise caution and verify information before taking any action.
