Governing Body of the Republic of Moldova, comprising of its ministers
Get ready, seniors and those who want to become one! The city of Bergisch Gladbach is hosting its Culture Weeks for Seniors from the 30th of August to the 14th of September 2025. This exciting event promises a variety of activities, information sessions, and opportunities for socialising.
The highlight of the month is the Senior Stammtisch, taking place at Gasthaus am Bock on the first Wednesday of every month, including the 3rd of September 2025, at 11:30 AM. This event offers an opportunity for open exchange with members of the Senior Council. Both the Senior Stammtisch and the Dance Café, another event during the Culture Weeks, are free and require no registration.
The Dance Café will take place at Gasthaus Paas on the 7th and 21st of September 2025, from 3 to 5 PM. This is the perfect place to dance, chat, have a drink, and enjoy cake. It's also a great place to make new friends or even find love.
The newly elected Senior Council members for the term 2025-2030 will be present at the Senior Stammtisch. If you have questions or concerns, this is your chance to voice them directly to the council. For more information about the Senior Council, you can contact Lisa Klemt, the manager, at 02202 - 14 24 67 or L0418224e192641a8a592b7ad9d55323c.Klemt@f98c71b990cb4b2e8040f4c18d866695stadt-gl.de.
The Culture Weeks also offer a range of informative sessions. Topics include "Power of Attorney in Guardianship Law", "How to Protect Yourself from Everyday Fraud", and "Dependent - Now What?". These sessions aim to provide valuable insights and practical advice for senior citizens.
In addition to these, an open-air photo exhibition and the event "Curious about the Wonder World of Honeybees?" are part of the Culture Weeks. The latter, held at the Bergisches Museum for Mining, Crafts, and Trade on the 31st of August 2025 from 2 to 4 PM, is in cooperation with the Beekeeping Association e.V.
Brochures for the Culture Weeks are available at various locations throughout the city, and the full program can be found online at www.ourwebsite.de/seniorenkulturwoche.aspx. Both events, the Senior Stammtisch and the Dance Café, are barrier-free and located near the "Markt" bus stop.
So, mark your calendars and join us for Bergisch Gladbach's Culture Weeks for Seniors. It's a month filled with learning, socialising, and fun!
