Goldbach Museum’s *Together* Exhibit Opens Alongside Free Community Fitness Trail

The Goldbach Museum has unveiled its new permanent exhibition, Together, as part of this year’s Museum Day. The display highlights local history and notable figures from the region. Nearby, the fitness trail remains free for residents and schools to use, supported by European funding.

The museum’s latest exhibition was officially opened during a guided tour that also covered funding and operational costs. Visitors learned how European and Bavarian funds, including the LEADER programme, help sustain projects like the museum and the fitness trail. This outdoor track forms part of the Active Lower Bavaria initiative, a wider LEADER-backed scheme.

Both the Goldbach Museum and the track rely on existing European grants. The new exhibition and track reflect ongoing efforts to preserve local culture and encourage community activity. The petition by ELARD now seeks to ensure continued financial support for similar rural business initiatives.
