The Russian Junior Championships (Under 24) concluded with several impressive performances, as athletes gear up for the upcoming World Championships later this month.

In the 57kg weight class, Liliana Rojina emerged victorious, securing her second consecutive gold medal in this category. Rojina, hailing from an undisclosed city, defeated Olesya Bezuglova from St. Petersburg with a convincing score of 8:1 in the gold medal match. This victory marks an upgrade from the bronze medal she won in the same event last year.

Meanwhile, in the 50kg weight category, Alexandra Kopylova clinched the gold. In the final match, Kopylova, whose hometown is yet to be disclosed, defeated Alina Sagalakova from Khakassia with a score of 5:1.

Interestingly, the organiser of the Russian Junior Championships, Yevgeniya Ogorodnikova, will also be competing tomorrow in the same 57kg weight class at the Russian Junior Championships. No information is currently available about who will be competing alongside her in the 57kg weight class at the upcoming Russian U24 World Championship qualification.

The Russian Junior Championships serve as a qualifier for the World Championships among athletes under 24 years old.
