In the upcoming sixth matchday of the football Verbandsliga, Calcio Leinfelden-Echterden and TSV Weilimdorf are set to face off in a heavyweight task for the former, as they take on the reigning vice-champion.

Calcio Leinfelden-Echterden's coach, Francesco Di Frisco, is on the hunt for reinforcements, particularly for the second center-back position. The team has been struggling to find their rhythm, scoring just 3 goals in their first 4 league games. However, Lukas Zweigle and Julian Unger are back in contention after injury layoffs, and Emilio Amenta, a returning player, is likely to start in the first team.

The Echterdingen team will be up against a formidable opponent in Janik Michel, who holds the record for the most goals scored in a single Wuerttemberg Verbandsliga season with 47 goals in 2021/2022. Michel currently plays for TSV Weilimdorf, and has already netted 7 goals this season. However, Samir Genc will be missing for TSV Weilimdorf due to a yellow-red card suspension.

TSV Weilimdorf's coach, Oliver Stierle, has been confirmed as interim coach until the return of Manuel Fischer, who was officially confirmed at the end of September 2022. Anthony Jeremy Raheem, Josip Biljeskovic, Tarik Bouich, Daniel Baierle, Maximilian Wocjik, and Yasin Kadir Yilmaz are still unavailable for TSV Weilimdorf due to injuries or vacation.

The new signing for TSV Weilimdorf, Angelo Goncalo Ferreira Kakou, is likely to make his debut in the upcoming game. Kakou's arrival could provide a much-needed boost to TSV Weilimdorf's attack, which has been consistent so far this season.

Calcio Leinfelden-Echterden had hoped to strengthen their attack through a transfer, but Luca Woehrle will stay with 1. Goeppinger SV. Despite this, Di Frisco is looking for reinforcements outside the official transfer windows.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Both teams will be aiming for a victory, as they look to climb up the Verbandsliga table. Calcio Leinfelden-Echterden will be hoping for a turnaround in their fortunes, while TSV Weilimdorf will be looking to continue their strong performances under Stierle, as they prepare to take on Spfr. Dorfmerkingen in their next game.
