Bragg Gaming Appoints Matej Filipančič as Global Sales Director

Matej Filipančič has returned to Bragg Gaming as the global sales director, marking a significant move for the company and its growth strategies. Filipančič, who previously spent more than five years at Bragg as head of turnkey solutions, will be based in Bragg's Ljubljana office in Slovenia.

Filipančič expressed his excitement about taking on the new challenge, stating that he is honored to lead the sales team and showcase Bragg's innovative content and technology. His deep industry knowledge and strategic vision are seen as invaluable for Bragg's growth strategies.

In his previous role at Bragg, Filipančič was instrumental in adapting Bragg's Player Account Management (PAM) platform for new regulated markets, including the Netherlands. He will now work to drive further growth and expansion of Bragg's aggregation platform, proprietary content, PAM system, and Fuze AI-powered engagement solution.

Bragg's chief commercial officer, Neill Whyte, expressed confidence in Filipančič's ability to drive business development efforts. Whyte emphasized Bragg's full-spectrum technology and content portfolio as a key aspect of its strategy, stating that Filipančič's passion for Bragg's products and understanding of partners' needs make him the ideal leader for business development.

The appointment of Filipančič reinforces Bragg's commitment to expanding its reach and delivering superior value to partners. However, it's worth noting that shares in Bragg Gaming Group Inc (TOR:BRAG) closed 1.08% lower at CA$3.66 per share in Toronto on Tuesday.

Interestingly, Bragg Gaming appointed Dean Adamson as Global Sales Director, and he will begin his role in October 2023. Filipančič's tenure as global sales director is expected to be temporary, with Adamson taking over the role in the future. Filipančič's return to Bragg is seen as a strategic move to ensure a smooth transition and continued growth for the company.

Filipančič most recently served as business development director at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). His experience and success at GiG are expected to contribute significantly to his role at Bragg. Filipančič's appointment underscores Bragg's commitment to attracting top talent to drive its growth and success in the competitive gaming industry.
