Glitnor Group acquires OneCasino and upgrades sports betting with Kambi tech

Glitnor Group has finalised its acquisition of OneCasino, expanding its reach in key European markets. The company has also announced a major update to its sports betting services across all its online brands. This follows a new partnership with Kambi Group to overhaul its betting technology. The deal with Kambi Group replaces Glitnor's existing sports betting provider. Under the agreement, Kambi will supply its full sportsbook platform, including a new betting engine and AI-driven trading tools. The partnership also introduces Kambi's Bet Builder product, allowing customers to create custom wagers.

Glitnor's revamped sportsbook will roll out across its entire portfolio, which includes Lucky Casino, Happy Casino, Flax Casino, and the newly acquired One Casino. Players in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Ontario, Canada, will be among the first to access the updated service.

In September, Glitnor secured a €55 million finance facility from hedge fund HG Vora Capital Management. The funding supports the group's expansion plans, which also include a 37.5% stake in New Jersey operator PlayStar.

Richard Brown, CEO of Glitnor Group, highlighted the Kambi partnership as a key step in strengthening the company's position in its core markets. Kambi CEO Werner Becher welcomed Glitnor to its network, emphasising the collaboration's potential for growth. The changes will bring Kambi's technology to Glitnor's full range of brands. Customers in multiple regions will soon experience the updated sportsbook features. The move aligns with the group's strategy to expand its market presence and enhance its betting offerings.
