The company has announced significant changes to its top management. Gilles Andrier, the current CEO, who has been leading the company since 2005, will be retiring after 30 years with the company. His retirement is due to take effect in 2026.
In a surprising move, Christian Stammkoetter, the president of Danone for Asia, Middle East, and Africa since 2022, will succeed Gilles Andrier as CEO of Givaudan. The official change in leadership will take place on March 1, 2026.
Calvin Grieder, the chairman of the board of directors, will also step down after 12 years with the company. The board of directors has proposed Gilles Andrier to succeed Calvin Grieder as chairman at the 2026 General Assembly.
In the first half of the year, Givaudan reported revenue of 3.8 billion Swiss francs (4 billion euros), representing a 3.4% increase compared to the same period last year. At constant exchange rates and excluding acquisitions, the increase in revenue was 6.3%.
To achieve this growth, Givaudan plans to strengthen its geographic presence and expand its product and material categories. The company expects sales to grow between 4% and 6% as part of its financial objectives.
The strategic plan also includes a focus on sustainable growth. Givaudan aims to reduce its carbon footprint, use more sustainable raw materials, and contribute to a healthier and happier world.
The revenue reported by Givaudan in the first half of the year is a testament to the company's success and its commitment to its strategic objectives. As it moves forward, Givaudan is poised to continue its growth and make a positive impact on the world.
