Tennis Gorgeousness Controversy Unfolds - Giorgi robs vacant villa.

Occasionally, Italian tennis player Camila Giorgi (32) shares a few photos on social media, but her whereabouts remain unclear. The Italian tax office is pursuing her for outstanding debts, and she's believed to be in the USA, specifically in San Diego.

Italian authorities are frustrated because there's nothing to seize from the Giorgi family since everything was rented. However, father Sergio and his relatives don't seem too worried. Reports suggest that they left their rented villa in Calenzan half-empty.

The landlord of the villa revealed this information to the newspaper La Repubblica. He claimed that neighbors spotted a crane and trucks outside the residence. "They've taken half of our furniture. Persian carpets, exquisite ornaments, and even a 500-kilogram antique table," the landlord said, choosing to remain anonymous.

The landlord estimates the damage to be around €100,000 and hasn't received any rent for half a year. He was surprised by the situation: "We rented the house to a prominent figure, an accomplished sportsperson, expecting something positive. But this experience has been anything but."

Trial for Forgery

When the landlord visited the villa, he found it deserted. "Furniture and carpets were piled up in the garden. The trucks were likely full and couldn't accommodate any more items," he recalled.

He decided not to report the family. "They're likely abroad and we'll never encounter them again. I don't want to invest more time in them," he said. Camila Giorgi, however, will face trial in Verona on July 16 for forging a vaccination certificate. In 2022, she entered Australia with a false certificate. It has been ordered for her to attend the trial.

The landlord even attempted to convince Sergio Giorgi to return the items. "I wrote to him, but he responded nonchalantly that the items had no value," he said. The landlord finds this behavior appalling, considering the material and moral damage incurred. "I'm not sure what Camila owes the state, but I know what she owes me."
