German Excellence Award 2026 Celebrates Innovators Shaping the Future of Business
The German Excellence Award 2026 has announced its winners after receiving over 100 applications. A total of 55 prizes were handed out across 11 different categories. The awards recognised businesses of all sizes, from startups to established mid-sized companies.
The selection process focused on three main criteria: innovation, customer benefit, and real-world market impact. Among the winners, ehotel stood out in the Business Models category. Their RFP-Tool is changing how hotels handle procurement in the digital age.
LONGi Solar Europe took home the prize in Energy & Environment for their climate-resilient solar module. Meanwhile, PRW Legal Tech won in Digital Solutions & AI for their PRW Compliance Set M 365. A panel of editors from DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine chose 40 of the winners.
Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, highlighted the importance of practical innovation. She noted that the winning projects are driving economic, technological, and societal change.
