Georgia Dominates Marshall in Quarterfinals Game
In a one-sided affair, Georgia outclassed Marshall in the quarterfinals game, securing a convincing 45-7 victory. The Bulldogs showcased their offensive prowess, outgaining the Thundering Herd 488-207 and recording 26 first downs to Marshall's 7.
The game started on a high note for Georgia, with two first-quarter touchdowns on an 8-play, 70-yard drive and another on a 72-yard drive. Gunner Stockton, Georgia's quarterback, scored a touchdown on a 13-yard rush during both scoring drives.
In the second quarter, Peyton Woodring kicked a 43-yard field goal to extend Georgia's lead to 24-0 before halftime. The first points for Marshall in the second half were scored by Jo'Shon Barbie on a 1-yard rushing touchdown.
However, Georgia quickly responded, with Zachariah Branch scoring his first touchdown of the season on a 47-yard pass from Stockton, making the score 31-0. London Humphreys received a 2-yard touchdown pass from Stockton with 3:51 remaining in the third quarter, increasing Georgia's lead to 38-0.

Marshall's offence struggled throughout the game, with Marshall managing to record only 7 first downs in the entire game. Xayvion Turner-Bradshaw had 3 receptions for 58 yards for Marshall, but it was not enough to mount a comeback.
K.J. Bolden's blocked punt led to a Georgia touchdown and a 21-0 lead, underscoring Georgia's dominance in all aspects of the game. The Bulldogs will advance to the next round, looking to continue their impressive form.
