In the picturesque village of Anavgay, located at the confluence of the Anavgay and Bystraya rivers, a much-needed renovation project is underway for the "Rodnichok" kindergarten. The kindergarten, which has been in operation since 1968 and 1973, has a capacity for 60 children and serves the approximately 500 residents of the village.

The current state of the buildings is dilapidated, with issues such as floor sagging, a need for internal sewage system reconstruction, and deteriorating internal wall finishing despite regular cosmetic repairs. The facade of the kindergarten also requires replacement, and two verandas at the main entrance need to be replaced.

The Regional Government of Kamchatka Krai has announced that they will finance the capital expansion of the kindergarten, with the funding coming from the regional budget. The governor of Kamchatka Krai has decreed the development of documentation for the capital repair of the kindergarten, which will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The head of the Bystrinsky District, Vladimir Adukanov, will coordinate the preparation and estimation of the project. The villagers initiated the repair of the kindergarten during a meeting with the governor, and the repair is scheduled to take place in 2025.

The "Rodnichok" kindergarten consists of two buildings, and the last major repair was conducted in 2012. The repair in 2025 will be a significant step towards ensuring the safety and comfort of the children attending the kindergarten, and maintaining the community's infrastructure in Anavgay.
