FanDuel, a leading online gaming and betting company in North America, has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Keith Whyte as its new Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor.

Whyte, who has decades of experience in responsible gambling and problem gambling prevention, will play a major role in the development of events promoting a culture of Responsible Gaming at FanDuel. He will also drive the company's Responsible Gaming strategy and programs.

With a reputation for his extensive industry knowledge and solid business relationships on a state and national level, Whyte will contribute to ongoing responsible gaming initiatives by FanDuel. He will consult the company and help create new content for its existing Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting program, as well as other initiatives.

During his tenure at the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), Whyte oversaw key processes related to raising awareness of treatment and support services to people affected by gambling harm. He also supported partnerships and collaborations focused on promoting responsible gaming practices, including working with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and advocacy organizations to develop and implement safer gambling strategies.

Cory Fox, FanDuel's Senior Vice President, Public Policy and Sustainability, welcomed Whyte to the team. "We are thrilled to have Keith join us," said Fox. "His extensive experience in responsible gambling will be invaluable as we continue to elevate the industry standard for Responsible Gaming."

He expressed excitement about joining FanDuel, citing the company's industry-leading commitment to Responsible Gaming. "FanDuel is committed to promoting safe and responsible play, and I am thrilled to contribute my experience to further advancing these efforts," said Whyte.

September is recognized as Responsible Gaming Education Month, and Whyte's designation as a Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor coincides with this. FanDuel has launched a new peer-to-peer fantasy sports product called FanDuel Picks, which is available to customers in 17 states.

FanDuel is committed to elevating the industry standard for Responsible Gaming, and with Whyte on board, the company is poised to make significant strides in this area. Whyte aims to strengthen FanDuel's responsible gaming efforts by providing advice and identifying new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to raise awareness.

Whyte served as the Executive Director of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) for more than 25 years. His extensive experience and dedication to responsible gambling make him an ideal fit for his new role at FanDuel.
