Galatasaray continued their impressive form in the Turkish Super Lig with a resounding 4-0 victory over Kayserispor at the RHG Enerturk Enerji Stadium. The Istanbul giants maintained a perfect start to the season, winning all three of their matches so far.

In the opening minutes, Lucas Torreira came close to scoring, striking the post from around 25 meters in the 9th minute. However, it was Leroy Sane who opened the scoring for Galatasaray in the dying moments of the first half, scoring from outside the penalty area in his third official match for the team.

After the break, Eren Elmali extended Galatasaray's lead with a goal in the 51st minute, followed by another in the 76th minute. Elmali's brace took his tally to three goals for the season. Victor Osimhen, who led the league in goals last season while on loan at Galatasaray, added the fourth goal in the 86th minute, assisted by Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, who replaced Yunus Akgun in the 79th minute.

Galatasaray's goalkeeper, Gunay Guvenc, was in fine form, making crucial saves throughout the match, including a stop on Laszlo Benes's free kick in the 43rd minute. There was a brief tension between Osimhen and Yunus Akgun in the 74th minute, which was resolved after the match.

The team has not dropped points in its last six away league matches, scoring 18 goals and conceding only one. Galatasaray has kept a clean sheet in their last eight official matches, dating back to a 4-1 win over Sivasspor on May 3. The team has scored 10 goals in their first three matches this season while maintaining clean sheets.

Galatasaray's transfer activity for the summer of 2025 remains unclear, with no publicly confirmed player signings. However, the team has been linked with several international players in transfer rumors.

With this win, Galatasaray moves to block star players from joining rival Turkish clubs and is now one goal away from its 4,000th league goal in its 68th season. The team will look to continue their winning streak when they face Fenerbahce in their next match.
