Gaidar Children's Library reopens with high-tech upgrades in Tuapse
The Gaidar Children's Library in Tuapse has reopened after a major upgrade. The renovation comes as part of the national project management initiative, which aims to modernise public spaces across Krasnodar Krai. Officials expect the improved facilities to attract far more visitors than before.
The newly refurbished library now features state-of-the-art equipment and multimedia tools. Its modern design turns the space into a versatile hub for learning and community activities. At present, the facility serves around 4,000 readers, but this figure is likely to grow.
Krasnodar Krai currently operates 20 model libraries under the same initiative. Three additional sites are scheduled to open by next year. While exact figures for new libraries created since the project's launch remain unclear, the upgrades continue to expand access to cultural resources.
The completion of the Gaidar Children's Library marks another step in the region's push to modernise public services. With more locations planned, residents will soon have greater access to updated facilities. The project's focus on technology and accessibility aims to boost engagement among families and young readers.
