TSV Bayer Dormagen, a German sports club renowned for its fencing department that includes World Champion Benedikt Wagner, will see improved training conditions thanks to a yearly grant of €8,000 from the Rhein-Kreis.

The grant, handed over by County Commissioner Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke, is intended to support the additional expenses of federal support points. Olaf Kawald, head of the federal support point and sports director of TSV Bayer Dormagen, expressed gratitude for the financial boost.

With the received grant, Kawald can now improve the training situation. The new coach of the saber fencing department, Christian Bauer, will also benefit from the grant. The grant is specifically for TSV Bayer Dormagen's saber fencing team.

Petrauschke stated, "Exceptional performances require exceptional conditions, and the sports-loving county is happy to contribute." He further added that the grant will benefit the fencing department of TSV Bayer Dormagen.
