Funds Contributed by Rotary Club of Lake Forest

In the city of Seevetal, the Rotary Club Seevetal recently made a significant donation of 6,000 euros to the Hittfelder facility in Haus Huckfeld. This generous contribution will directly benefit individuals with disabilities at the facility.

Nicole Maack, President of the Rotary Club Seevetal, presented the donation in person. The funds will be used to purchase specific equipment for disabled individuals, aiming to support their art and fitness needs.

The donation was collected at a benefit concert of the choir Gospel Train in March, held at the Kuhn+Witte Audi Terminal in Fleestedt. The event was a sold-out success, contributing to the success of the donation collection.

The Hittfelder facility will receive a height-adjustable drawing table suitable for wheelchair users for the "Farbwelten" studio, thanks to the Rotary Club's donation. This table will provide disabled artists with the necessary tools to express their creativity. Additionally, an ergometer for wheelchair users will be acquired for specific muscle training.

Jochen Moritz, director of the Hittfelder facility, expressed his gratitude for the repeated donation from the Rotary Club. He emphasised that the donation continues to demonstrate their commitment to supporting facilities that cater to diverse individuals, including those with disabilities.

Nicole Maack stated that the donation funds will support a world where diversity, equality, and inclusion are indispensable. The Rotary Club's donation will contribute to the accessibility of art and fitness facilities for disabled individuals at the Hittfelder facility.
