Fundraising Success: Zorro Secures $20 Million in Series A for Benefits Management Platform

Zorro, a benefits administration platform, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round, led by Entreé Capital. This investment will be used to scale operations, reinforce Zorro's leadership position, and expand its technology to enhance the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) experience for brokers, employers, and employees.

Zorro's end-to-end solution modernizes employee benefits by replacing traditional group plans with a defined contribution model. This approach offers personalized and affordable healthcare plans, enabling employees to compare hundreds of plans, taking into account their unique healthcare needs and financial risk tolerance, thanks to Zorro's AI-based and data-driven decision engine.

The platform's seamless payment and enrollment integrations, ancillary benefits, and financial planning tools aim to provide a comprehensive solution for health and wealth planning. Guy Ezekiel, Zorro's CEO and Co-Founder, stated that Zorro is building a future where these two aspects are integrated.

Zorro's growth has been exponential. Zorro-initiated enrollments have seen an 800% year-over-year increase for 2025, indicating that the company is likely to expand its operations in 2025 or shortly thereafter. Over 75% of employees enrolled through Zorro selected insurance plans based on platform recommendations without any human intervention.

Moreover, on average, Zorro clients have saved over 20% on premiums compared to traditional group plans. This savings, combined with the platform's user-friendly interface and personalized recommendations, has led to high customer satisfaction. The new capital will be used to invest in people and processes to support ongoing customer satisfaction.

Avi Eyal, Entreé Capital Managing Partner, is proud to join Zorro on its journey to give employers and employees the tools required to achieve true financial security. He mentioned that Zorro is leading the next wave of benefits innovation and transforming how individuals manage their financial futures.

The funding round also received participation from existing investors 10D and Pitango. The funds will be used to accelerate the advancement of Zorro's AI-powered platform, further improving its ability to offer personalized and affordable healthcare solutions to a wider audience.

Zorro's expansion and technological advancements are set to redefine the benefits landscape, offering a more efficient, personalized, and affordable solution for healthcare and insurance spending across a lifetime.
