The Urology Clinic at Klinikum Ludwigsburg is a leading medical facility, offering specialized outpatient services for a range of urological conditions. The clinic is renowned for its expertise in managing urinary incontinence, kidney stones, and tumor diseases.

One of the clinic's key focuses is minimally invasive surgeries, also known as "keyhole surgery." This approach, which aims to minimise patient discomfort and recovery time, is extensively used in the clinic. The clinic is equipped with modern thulium lasers for the enucleation of benignly enlarged prostates and the removal of kidney and ureter stones.

The Urology Clinic at Klinikum Ludwigsburg performs approximately 2,500 surgeries annually and treats more than 2,500 patients as inpatients. Over 4,600 patients are treated on an outpatient basis.

Among the senior physicians at the clinic is PD Dr. med. Andreas Jurczok, who serves as the director. Specialising in prostate cancer, Dr. Jurczok can provide information on prevention strategies, answer questions, and discuss proven as well as new therapy options. He can be reached on September 3, between 4 pm and 7 pm, at 07141 144-2021.

The clinic also specialises in complex operations and various types of medicinal therapies, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. It is equipped with highly modern ultrasound devices for diagnosing prostate cancer by performing biopsies.

Since mid-2016, a robot-assisted surgical system has been in use at the clinic for prostate cancer, kidney tumors, removal of the bladder, and reconstructive procedures.

In addition to Dr. Jurczok, other senior physicians at the clinic include Philipp Meißner and Dr. Uschi Traub. Mr. Meißner can be reached on September 3, between 4 pm and 7 pm, at 07141 144-43239, while Dr. Traub can be reached at 07141 144-41304 during the same hours.
