Friday's town festivity showcases our city in the year 2025

In the heart of Kassel, the city festival is gearing up for an unforgettable event. Here's a rundown of the performances and activities you can expect.

At 15:00 on the Marketplace Stage, the KSV our city Hip-Hop group will take centre stage. This group consists of five teams and two trainers who work with children aged 6-15 every week. Get ready to groove as they perform a mix of their own creations and classic doubletime tracks from the Hip-Hop scene.

At the same time, over on Stage [34225], Hans Hoti, a local rapper, will also be performing his own rap songs.

Later in the afternoon, at 17:00 on the Marketplace Stage, Dance studio Dance United Kassel will showcase Hip-Hop performances from ages 4 to adults. This includes choreographies from courses in Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Female, Krump, Breakdance, and Starmoves.net groups.

Meanwhile, on Stage [34225], Schachklub our city 1963 e. V. will be hosting a small competition at 18:00, open to both spectators and participants.

As the evening approaches, at 19:00 on the Main Stage Marketplace, a performance is scheduled, with details to be announced soon.

At 19:30 on Stage [34225], KLIMPERKASTEN, a six-member formation, will take the stage. They are known for their energetic performances, drawing from the rock, pop, and top forty scene.

At 20:00 on the Marketplace Stage, KSV our city Sports Acrobatics department will perform formations from their competitive team, members of the support group, and Acro-Fun on the big stage.

The highlight of the night, at 20:00 on Stage [34225], will be a performance by Rolling Joe & The Pushers followed by The Teacher's Band of Theodor-Heuss-School in our city. The band, consisting of an IT teacher, a saxophonist, a drummer, an electric bass player, and three music teachers, will present Rock and Pop from six decades with a healthy dose of Cocker.

Parts of the upcoming full performance "Carmina Burana" by Ballettschule our city will be shown on the town hall stage.

The festivities don't end with the performances. The Stadtfest in our city features an Amusement Mile with rides and amusement stalls, including a 40-meter high chain flyer, a Ferris wheel, and autoscooter. Kids' Land, located on Friedrich-Ebert-Allee near the cinema, offers interactive activities for all ages and a different crafting offer each day.
