Free Art Exhibition 'Found and Contrasted' in Historic Osnabrück Chapel

Art enthusiasts in Osnabrück are invited to a free exhibition at the historic Hasefriedhof chapel. Organised by Osnabrücker Servicebetrieb and FOKUS e.V., the event features artists Annette Bening and Sylke Sonnenfeld. It will take place on October 5th, 12th, and 19th from 2 to 5 PM. While entry is free, donations are welcome to support the upkeep of historic cemeteries.

The exhibition, 'Found and Contrasted', showcases the unique styles of both artists. Annette Bening, known for incorporating found objects into her paintings, will display her latest works. Sylke Sonnenfeld, who focuses on creating tension and contrasts, will present her thought-provoking pieces. The event is made possible by the support of various volunteers and foundations, including the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz.

Flyers for the event are available at Tourist Information in Bierstraße and Osnabrücker Servicebetrieb in Hafenringstraße 12. They can also be downloaded from the official website, www.hasefriedhof-johannisfriedhof.de. Donations and endowments are requested for general construction tasks on historic cemeteries or for specific family graves.

The 'Found and Contrasted' exhibition promises a unique blend of art and history. By attending, visitors not only enjoy the artwork but also contribute to the preservation of Osnabrück's historic cemeteries. The event is a testament to the city's commitment to both art and heritage.
