Fortnite’s *Zero Hour* Event Ends Chapter 6 with an Epic Showdown on November 29

Fortnite’s Chapter 6 is ending with a massive live event called Zero Hour on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The one-time spectacle will pit players against the ‘Dark Presence’, one of the game’s most formidable villains. Fans can expect a complete overhaul of the map as the game transitions into Chapter 7 during the Thanksgiving weekend.

The Zero Hour event kicked off at 8:00 PM CET (2:00 PM ET), with lobbies opening 40 minutes earlier to manage server demand. Unlike past events, this one won’t take place on the current map but in a special playlist designed just for the occasion.

A staggering lineup of licensed characters will join the battle, including Superman, X-Wings, The Bride from Kill Bill, the Megazord from Power Rangers, and Marty McFly’s DeLorean from Back to the Future. Also appearing are the Scooby-Doo gang, Godzilla, King Kong, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fall Guys avatars, Mortal Kombat fighters, Halo soldiers, Hatsune Miku, and HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters. After the event, the game will shut down for maintenance, with Chapter 7’s release time to be announced later.

The Bride and Marty McFly will officially arrive as playable characters when Chapter 7 launches. Players who miss Zero Hour won’t get a second chance—the event is a single, irreversible moment before the map resets or transforms entirely.

The Zero Hour event marks the end of Fortnite’s Chapter 6 and sets the stage for a fresh start. With the map facing destruction or a dramatic redesign, players will soon explore an entirely new world. The event’s timing over Thanksgiving ensures a global audience for the game’s next major era.
